Cashless transactions, using CanPay, can help to minimize transaction time

Cashless transactions can help to minimize transaction time and in-person contact during your Temescal Wellness visit, using CanPay.

We want to thank our guests for their patience and understanding as we have adjusted operations during this extraordinary time of COVID-19. One tool we’ve recognized as useful during this time, and that we would like to share with you, has been cashless transactions and, in particular, CanPay. 

Cashless transactions, like CanPay, allow you to skip one of the steps during your purchase, specifically, the exchange of cash or the use of a debit card reader. CanPay is an app we accept at all our locations, that you download on your smartphone. It is compatible with both Apple and Android. 

Here’s how it works, the benefits of using it, and how to get set up yourself, both immediately for our medical patients as well as in anticipation of the opening of Recreational sales for all of our guests (hopefully soon).

You’ll need to set up an account and can download the app through this link. You can also visit their site directly, here, for more information, and to download it directly from them. On CanPay’s page, at the top of the screen, you’ll notice a yellow box that says “Get The Mobile App”, click it. You will then be prompted to add the “app” to your home screen on your mobile device, according to the specific device that you are using. 

Once you have the app, you will need some information to set up your account:

A valid driver’s license

A checking account

A working email address

Privacy is important, and something we take seriously here at Temescal Wellness, you can find information about CanPay’s privacy policy here.

Once you have applied and filled out the required information, the information that you provided will undergo a validation process. This process may take up to three business days but can be instant. CanPay will notify you when your account is confirmed active and share program details through subsequent email messages. We know avoiding wait time is important to our guests, as is minimizing the time you spend in our stores. Instead of using cash, or your debit card, when you check out with CanPay, you only need to enter your unique transaction pin to complete the transaction. We believe using CanPay can be an easy and effective way to shorten your wait time and help have you on your way quicker.
