Learn about CBD and the endocannabinoid system.
CBD or more officially called Cannabidiol is a chemical compound found in cannabis. It is derived from the hemp plant and while it is one of the many components in the cannabis plant, by itself it does not cause a "high" like THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol).
CBD is most commonly used to help with anxiety and insomnia, but also has been known to help with inflammation, providing relief for aches and chronic pain.
