Thinking up ways to impress your crush this Valentine’s Day? We’ve got you AND your strawberries covered — in cannabis-infused chocolate, that is. Here are 3 Easy Cannabis-Infused Valentine’s Day Dessert Recipes to spread the love this February.
We’re going bold with our first cannabis-infused dessert recipe for Valentine’s Day. Warning: It does not include chocolate (but it is incredibly easy to whip up, and comes packed with equal parts nostalgia and sweetness)! Try making your very own pink drink, complete with strawberries and cannabis-infused milk, for a tasty way to wake and bake with your Galentine’s crew, or sip with your sweetie to round out a day of romance.
What you’ll need:
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend. Voila!
Our IHP Chocolate bars are the perfect sweet treat on their own, but we highly recommend pairing melty, cannabis-infused chocolate with strawberries to elevate an already iconic dessert. IHP's Chocolate bars are 100mg (20 pieces, 5mg each) of chocolate, and super easy to melt down for dipping purposes. Choose between milk chocolate or dark chocolate (which is also vegan!) — whichever you prefer — and get ready to take chocolate-dipped fruit to higher levels.
What you’ll need:
Directions: Line a baking sheet with silicone pats or parchment paper and set it aside. Then break your cannabis-infused chocolate bar into small pieces and melt them on the stove or microwave to create a chocolate dip. Stir consistently. Be sure not to burn your canna-chocolate!
Gently dip the strawberries into the melted canna-chocolate, letting the excess chocolate run off before setting it on the lined baking sheet. You can decorate with white chocolate, edible flower petals, or any other garnish over the chocolate while it is still wet. Repeat until all strawberries are covered.
Allow the chocolate to set, about 10 minutes. Indulge immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Enjoy!
Whoever figured out that chocolate peanut butter cups are incredibly simple to make at home was NOT ready for the simplicity of homemade cannabis-infused chocolate peanut butter cups. A sprinkle of sea salt pairs perfectly with sweet canna-chocolate. You and your impressed crush will delight in the high from these sweet treats. Change out peanut butter for your nut (or nut-free) butter of choice, and get to snacking!
What you’ll need:
Directions: Simply break your cannabis-infused chocolate bar into small pieces, place them in a microwave-safe bowl, and melt for about 90 seconds, stirring halfway through until smooth. Be sure not to burn your canna-chocolate!
Place 1 heaping teaspoon of the melted canna-chocolate into small paper or silicone liners and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
While the canna-chocolate cools, stir together the nut or sunflower butter and powdered sugar in a bowl. Then roll 1 teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture into a ball and then flatten it into a disk. Repeat with the rest of the peanut butter.
When the chocolate has cooled, place a peanut butter disk in each cup on top of the refrigerated chocolate mixture.
Top cups with the remaining melted canna-chocolate to cover and finish with a few flakes of sea salt. Refrigerate until set, about 10 minutes.
Peel off the liners and eat! Or package them up for a sweet gift for that special someone.
