Is It Possible To Drive To All The Cannabis Dispensaries In Massachusetts In One Day?

Massachusetts is a top destination for cannabis dispensaries available for medical and recreational patients, including our three Temescal Wellness locations. So, we wanted to see if it was possible to visit all the med and rec shops in one day. Spoiler alert… It’s not! According to Leafly.com there are almost 500 marijuana dispensaries in Massachusetts (498 cannabis shops to be exact). You may not be able to visit all of them in one day, so we recommend focusing on our two favorite regions in Massachusetts; the Metro West and Berkshire County. 

If you decide to take this road trip and make purchases along the way, know Massachusetts law allows adults to hold up to one ounce on their person, and products must be properly stored. You cannot have an open container of marijuana in your car - it must be stored in a closed container in your trunk or a locked glove compartment. We want you to stay safe so remember the marijuana open container law is punishable by a fine! Also know, it is illegal to transport cannabis across state lines (even if it is legal in both states).

Medical and Recreational Cannabis Dispensaries in the Metro West 

Starting with cannabis dispensaries in the Metro West of Massachusetts, our road trip begins in Hudson where one of our Temescal Wellness shops is located at 252 Coolidge St, Hudson, MA 01749. From here, travel to Marlborough to visit three dispensaries, and continue in a loop to stop by 12 total Massachusetts dispensaries, (including our other Temescal Wellness in Framingham), in about 2.5 hours. (Assuming you don’t hit Boston traffic!)

Ending in Hopedale, it takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes to drive from the Metro West over to Berkshire County. For part two of our road trip, we head over to western Mass and begin our trip in Sheffield. From here, it would take about 2 hours to visit 10 cannabis dispensaries in Berkshire County, including Temescal Wellness in Pittsfield at 10 Callahan Dr, Pittsfield, MA 01201. This area is particularly special to us because our new grow facility is located in North Adams, MA!
