Looking for dessert ideas to elevate your next holiday event? Here are a few ways to incorporate IHP's Peppermint Dark Chocolate Bar into your canna-friendly party.
IHP's Peppermint Dark Chocolate bar is a special edible we released for the holiday season. It's 100mg (20 pieces, 5mg each) of vegan dark chocolate with peppermint pieces sprinkled on top. It's an edible you can share with friends as is or incorporate it into dessert! We've got a few recipes that call for our cannabis infused chocolate that are perfect for your holiday next party.
Rudolph Rob's Peppermint Breakaways
What you'll need:
Directions: Simply break your peppermint chocolate bar into small pieces and melt them on the stove or microwave to create a peppermint chocolate sauce. We make this easy since the bar is molded into 20 small 5mg squares for dosing. Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Lay graham crackers side by side on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Pour the melted chocolate over the graham crackers and smooth it out with the back of a spoon to create a smooth surface. Put the cookie sheet in the oven and let it bake for 6-8 minutes until crispy. Remove your breakaways from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into squares. If you want to add some extra holiday cheer, crush a few candy canes and sprinkle the pieces on top while your breakaways are cooling. Enjoy!
Peppermint Chocolate Coated Pretzel Clusters
What you'll need:
Directions: Break your peppermint chocolate bar into small pieces and melt them on the stove or microwave to create a peppermint chocolate sauce. Let the chocolate cool slightly while you lightly crush your pretzels into small bits. Make sure to break the pretzels rather than crushing into a powder. Add pretzel pieces to the melted chocolate and mix well. Take heaping spoonfuls of your chocolate pretzel mix and place on a parchment covered cookie sheet. If you've got candy canes, crush them and sprinkle on top of the clusters. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm, and they're ready to share and enjoy!
Hanukah Fritters with Peppermint Chocolate Syrup
What you'll need:
Directions: Use a mixing bowl to combine flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat an egg. Add milk to the egg, then add the milk and egg mixture to the flour. Use a fork to stir until thick batter forms. Pour oil into a frying pan and bring to heat. Add spoonfuls of batter to the oil with a slotted metal spoon. The fritters will only need a few minutes on either side, and should be placed on a wire rack after frying so they can cool down and dry off.
Break your peppermint bar into small pieces and melt them on the stove or in the microwave to create a peppermint chocolate sauce. For a more pourable consistency, add melted butter or half and half to the melted chocolate and stir slowly.
Then, pour your warm melted peppermint chocolate over the fritters, and indulge! Plus you can always add powdered sugar to top it off!
Don't forget: we sell cannabis infused milk chocolate, regular dark chocolate and dark chocolate with mango topping too. Melt them down and use as a cannabis-infused substitute for chocolate in your favorite sweets this season!
