Our Unique Approach To Training Employees

All of our Temescal Wellness new hires are properly trained before working directly with customers, and the training they experience does set us apart from other MA dispensaries. To start, all employees undergo the Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) certification program taught by Marijuana Handlers, following the guidelines outlined by the CCC. This includes those who will work with recreational cannabis customers, not just employees who will work behind the medical cannabis counter. 

All employees receive cannabis product training consistently throughout their time at Temescal Wellness, It’s not just foundational training at the start of their employment. Aside from the annual training required by the CCC under the RVT program, and the overall training requirements that need to be met, we create and distribute weekly decks that outline and educate on any promotions and new products arriving at the retail locations. We also require experienced budtenders to work the medical cannabis counter. We take our role in supporting our medical marijuana patients very seriously and ensure any questions our medical guests may have are answered by an experienced budtender. We are also taking steps to increase the number of bi-linugual service associates we have at each location to further support each guest that walks through our doors. 

Not only do we want to provide customers with the best budtenders who are educated on the products, but we want you to interact with genuine, good people. Inclusivity training is one way we do this. It’s important for us to employ a diversified staff who is understanding and compassionate; this is how we’ve been able to create an environment where our employees and customers feel welcomed in our Massachusetts dispensary locations.
